After QGJ tries the mind trick, Watto says "Do you think you're a Jedi or
something?" I don't think he was really picking up on Qui-Gon's Jedi-ness.
QG's statements weren't blatantly wierd, they could have been interpreted as a
person trying to push for his own side. I noticed this little quibble when I
saw the movie, but upon further reflection, I don't think it's a nit.

| (...) the lines of: I'm a (XXX), jedi powers don't work on me, only money. XXX being whatever race he is which i can't recall. I took this to mean that Watto realized that QGJ was a jedi and was telling him that his powers would not work on his (...) (25 years ago, 25-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
