(...) What do you mean "odd tile edges"? You shouldn't need to use tiles at all. To make a stable cylinder with macaroni bricks, you have to rotate each layer by 45 degrees. (...) Would you really need two layers? I don't have any macaroni bricks handy, but from what I remember (and from LDraw), you should be able to replace the second-to-last 4x4 cylinder brick with 4 macaroni bricks, and then put the final 4x4 (...) (26 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
