The Technic Giant Model Set (8277) used the same type of outer box.

| (...) Oops, had forgotten about that... It also has an internal box with some of the parts, though it is of the normal cardboard. So the box just uses a combination of previous schemes, the 8277 lid and the other large sets double walled box bottom. (26 years ago, 6-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)

| I just finished Sebulba's Pod. This thing is heavy. Very clever use of a variety of parts to get something bears significant resemblance to the real thing (at least in comparison to the Galoob Action Fleet version of Sebulba's Pod). Lots of (...) (26 years ago, 4-May-99, to lugnet.starwars)
