I know the model is about 3” by 2” in size, but do I really need a shelf 2”
deep? (The destroyer will be able to hang over the shelf’s edge.)

Good point, here’s my experience with
droopy star destroyer pieces. Although I’m thinking of rebuilding it, but I also
don’t have anywhere to put it. When it was together, it took quite a bit of an
office desk, which you can see in
this picture.
