Thanks everyone for your praise. It is really nice to hear, since my fiancee
is sick of it being on the dining room table. A couple of things I wanted to
point out though. The platform it's self is 3 plates thick, grey on top,
blue/green/red in the middle, and black on the bottom (also along the edges.)
This is what gives the platform it's rigidity. As far as the radar dish went,
I actually kinda forgot about it. I was sorta bummed that I didn't have enough
bricks for an ATAT that I didn't think about a dish. Now I have to look for a
Falcon on sale, so I can get the pieces for a dish. I also wanted to do more
of a forest around it, but after buying 10 of the Speeder bike (I got most at
K-Mart discounted) sets I just couldn't afford anymore. Now I have to look for
a Falcon on sale, so I can get the pieces for a dish.
As far as money goes (A few mentioned wives, fiancee, and buying a house) I
have all those things to look forward to. I have to save for a wedding in
April 2002, and a house, hopefully not too long after that. I am fortunate
though, when I met my fiancee I had one bad habit that I not only spent money
on, but spent time away from the house. (Magic: the Gathering), now I just
spend the money, that is atleast what little is now in my budget.

| (...) Great platform, Jason! The fact that it is so large reflects the Imperial way wonderfully. It definitely conveys that stark, utilitarian, metallic ambiance that the Empire's constructs were characterized by. It's also very impressive when you (...)
