Yes, there is a possibility that some details from your excelent ship might
have worked its way in there somewhere. I studied several falcons(yours
including), but also enormous amounts of blueprints, pictures and modells.
After doing so I got a picture of how I wanted it to look in my head, and
I'm sure some of your ship is there too. Do you have any spesifics? I want
to give credit where credit is due. I agree with you concerning scale, and
was hoping for a MISS(Minifig Internal Set Scale), but I ran out of angled
plates for the shape. MISS would atleast be 120 studs long (mine were 96).
The upper hull is perfectly symmetrical, down to the last 1x1.
You quad cannon design is the only correct one. I wanted to do something
similar, but when the time came for it to be made, I had run out of pieces,
time and patience. I wanted to start building the blockade runner(about 1:5
of MESS, but for minifigs.

| (...) Oh, things like the four antennas stuck on top of the upper jaw box. The real Falcon detail isn't quite like this, I just added them because I hadn't found any other use for them. Also the cluster of 8 little cylinders in the rear side quarter (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.starwars)
