I think we had this discussion before about the Imperial Shuttle....
The models used for filming were gray, the life size model at the Star Wars
Celebration AND the one in Disneyland are gray, and every picture I've ever
seen of an X-wing is gray... of course the pictures are always shown as
dirty, battered ships.
That said, I don't mind seeing white X-wings. The X-wing looks good in both
white or gray... but every official source I've seen (Hasbro/Kenner is not
an official source) shows the X-wing in gray.
