  Re: Question on the Shuttle??

(...) Thanks Jay for the answer. I was hoping that I would learn a new trick to building from the answer, but I do not like to mix glue and Lego :( Thanks for the close-up pic as well! - Jim F. (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  So Wizard!

I got a 1999 product brochure today that is different than the other ones I have. I think it might be older. The cover has the X-Wing being chased by Darth Vader instead of the big Sith Infiltrator it usually has. The front page says- "COMING SUMMER (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lambda Class Shuttle

I must admit, however, that the wings on the Enfield model are very clean, and seamless. And it looks like there's a retracting landing gear that actually supports the model. Mine works but collapses under the weight. Gee, maybe mine isn't so good. (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Way out of proportion and completely lacking in the sleek grace of the model from the movie. (...) (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Question on the Shuttle??

Now that's disappointing. I just hate to see models created by using glue. I understand that they need to glue things to get them to stay together, but I object to the use of glue for making the model itself. :^( ~Mark (24 years ago, 30-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
