  Re: 2001 Set info

Well, here we go again. I've never complained about scale. I understand that the proportions of the minifig make this kind of a moot point. The XWing, Snowspeeder, TIE, Y-wing, Speeder Bikes, etc. were all good sets. I think Lego did an excellent (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

Re: who's feelin the black pack?

(...) Would that be a slap in the face with a WHITE glove. All those people would love this cause, it puts them back in the spotlight. Without controversy they have no jobs. Yes it is true, Lego is just a toy. That is why Orientals are NOT upset (...) (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Set info

(...) I am not familiar with Jorge so I do not know the type of person he is. I can tell you one thing, I do not care if he made it up. It was just an opinion on my part. Telling me I owe someone an apology for calling his bluff is stupid. Whether (...) (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Set info

(...) Too true, and I fully agree, but the difference here is that they are fulfilling a license of existing models, and if they choose to call a set an Star Wars A-wing fighter, it should at least be the right shape & colors. Don't get me wrong... (...) (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 2001 Set info

(...) <snip> (...) Let me go one step further... in fact, I just had this conversation with a camp-fella who was checking out my site and asked if I try to make it look as realistic as possible, or to maintain the lego feel... and I answered that, (...)   Re: 2001 Set info

(...) Jorge is a known person to several AFOLs in the central OH area. He does actually work for Target, and actually has access to this kind of information. I trust his information, and I think you owe him an apology. (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Lego Arctic = Hoth?

Has anyone yet amassed enough Arctic sets to create some scenes from Hoth? Does anyone know where I can see some gifs of such creations? (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: who's feelin the black pack?

I know that this thread is old, but i haven't had the chance to comment on it until now. If lego ever released a yellow lando, it would be a huge slap in the face to every black hero ever and I'd definitely get Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the (...) (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Droid Transport?

(...) You are correct sir. The Droid Transport was in Episode I for a few brief seconds in the jungle with the MTT. A little off-topic, good choice of reading material, I love Popular Mechanics. -Nick (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.starwars)
