Is the "Star Wars Technical Journal" worth buying? How does it compare to the Encyclopedia? I have read through the Encyclopedia, and found it lacking in pictures/photos and detail. It gives a brief bit about everything, including obscure history (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Anyone built a droid rack?

That sounds cool...I would love to see pictures. What I'm really hoping, is to be able to make a rack that actually unfolds to deploy the droids. I haven't bought the MTT set yet. I figure to do what I want, I'm going to have to MOC it. Let us know (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Action S@H catalog missing sets

(...) I hadn't noticed but your right that is really annoying. As for why some sets are not displayed I couldn't tell you. I wouldn't be supprised if the Gungan Sub and the Sith Infiltrator were discontinues soon. I think they are both slow movers (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Anyone built a droid rack?

Ya mean like what is in the MTT? If so, I've done this. I hollowed out the space below the space where the droids are and added 2 more rows. So now it can hold 18 figs. I hope to get pictures in about 2 weeks. HTH -- kyle (URL)Ever since EP1 came (...) (24 years ago, 19-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Lego survey in Millenium Falcon set

I think I just filled out one of these cards from my new Droid Developer Kit. I didn't read it closely, but I don't remember any free gift. That would be nice thoa. :) Anyway, it was a large white form asking similar questions, I had to fold it in (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

That is true. I had not thought about the metal bars, I was just thinking about the general shape. I thought someone was suggesting a 2x4-slope-from-2-dee...eep-on-top windshield as the back end of the canopy, and I thought that would be to steep (...)   Anyone built a droid rack?

Ever since EP1 came out, I've been plotting to build a droid rack. Has anyone tried this with any success? I've gone through about 20 designs, and I just can't get a sturdy, working system that even remotely resembles the movie. It doesn't help that (...) (24 years ago, 18-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Action S@H catalog missing sets

I finally got my GIOANL Action Shop@Home catalog and was a little taken aback at the way they've distributed the SW sets throughout the pages of the cat. Anybody else notice this? Really annoying, and it took me a moment to realize that they've (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Sith Lords Pack: Thoughts

I just got my first S@H purchase today! Included was my 3340. Very nice little minifig pack. Another Maul never hurts (more wraiths for my CW Undead Army! Mwahaha!) Vader is cool too. But the real gem of this set is the "Unique Minifig", the (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.reviews, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: Lego survey in Millenium Falcon set

(...) I also filled out a Lego survey that I got in my Millenium Falcon a few months ago. I just got my gift a week ago and it is indeed a Lego Cowboy Keychain. It takes forever to arrive though. HTH> ---...--- "Live Long and Build"-Lego Spock (24 years ago, 16-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Disappointing Pod Racing Bucket

(...) No, it's a smaller and more basic pod. Instead of the energy beams being 4 trans orange Star Wars cannon, they are made from one or two trans orange 1x6 bricks. Anakin's pod uses yellow 1x8 for the flaps instead of the special part. There are (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jul-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) sloped (...) Note if you will the metal bars in an oval in the front of the canopy. That would be best represented by the X-Wing canopy. ~Drew "Luke" Lawrence (24 years ago, 15-Jul-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

Actually, I think you have it backwards. The front of the Hog's canopy is sloped steeply from the nose to the top, and the back of the canopy slopes gently from the top of the canopy to the fuselage.
