Hi, Here is my attempt at a larger-scale version of the X-Wing. I built this last summer using parts mostly from 8480 Space Shuttle and 6982 Explorien Starship. The wings can open and close, and are held open by technic axles. My "stand" is (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I have to agree. Who else has seen the AAT (7155)? The click hinges used on the hatch and gun turret are pretty much useless for playability. They are too stiff and the attached pieces pull off rather articulate the hinge. Fortunately, this is (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) click-hinge (...) put (...) Well, I just bought #5935 (New adventurers dino-island plane thingy) and it uses click-hinges for the wings... I've seen the X-wing for £100, and the TIE and MF for 69.99 (in a dept store just up the road from me) Forbidden Planet has the X-wing for £135 (or was it £150...), the MF and TIE for £99... Has anyone checked Toys 'R Us yet? Steve (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I remember, when I watched Nickelodeon(SP?), they had, oh, about a once a year a 5 minute shopping spree through TRU, where you could grab whatever you wanted in the store.
