  Re: Thats no moon!!!

(...) Naw, just do what the USS Nimitz did in "Final Countdown"..., but jump in space rather than time. ;] KDJ ___...___ LUGNETer #203 (20 years ago, 25-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Thats no moon!!!

(...) Thats simple. All you have to do is be too close to the super-dimensional fortress Macross when it performs a hyperspace fold jump thingy. Your previously seaborne carrier will now be floating in space :-) Steve (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Thats no moon!!!

(...) Let's disregard that the actual size differential is about 11x (according to some sources) and go with a more realistic upsize of 5x in length, width, and height. That would give a convincingly "wow, that's bigger" model, and stick with the (...) (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Theed Capture

The Neimoidians capture the city of Theed including it's highest ranking officials who are led away by Battle Droid units for processing.   Re: Thats no moon!!!

(...) Well, not that it was a goof. Cuz, really, an executor in that scale would be a dot or something. There's just no point. I think they made it as small as possible while still being able to see what it was. Heh, I suppose really it's a shame (...) (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Thats no moon!!!

(...) The second Death Star wasn't damaged - it was "unfinished" (but still fully operational). Buy two? Nah, buy three - build both the "finished" Death Star I and the "unfinished" Death Star II. Don't forget to swarm both with lots of mini-mini (...) (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

2 new Mini Models: Lady Luck and Wild Karrde

Hello again dear fellows! As I am approaching a busy time at work, I here share all not yet published Mini models with you.   Re: Imperial Inspection available at Shop@Home...

Already available at TRUs for $49.99 and you save on shipping. Don't know whether it's an exclusive for the store as I haven't seen it in other retailers. AC (20 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Thats no moon!!!

(...) It's a shame that LEGO goofed and made the Death Star and mini Executor at two different scales. The second Death Star is not 160 km in diameter, as the model's label states. It is in fact about 900 km in diameter. (20 years ago, 20-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Cloud City Shuttle

(...) Here are my Top Ten BS explanations (endorsed by Lucas(1) himself): 10. Focus groups respond better to the meatier “twin pod” than to the wimpy “single pod” version 9. The two-pod model is actually the instructor/student training vehicle 8. A (...) (20 years ago, 18-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.town)

  Re: Cloud City Shuttle

(...) Sorry, you're not getting any B.S. from me. I've actually started on this moc as a standalone hovercraft of sorts. But I had two of the windscreens and the other odd red piece that came out to what it is. I'll probably try to change the design (...)   Re: Cloud City Shuttle

Nice MOC! My question is why the twin pod design? I've always wondered what the purpose of a twin pod design in the cloud car has if there is only one engine between the two. I could see a benefit to the car if the pods were detachable, but one (...) (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: [OT] How large would Executor-class SSD appear?

Not too geeky for me! I love this sort of stuff; it helps us visualize our lego models. Accurate measurements help in the design process. Keep it up! (20 years ago, 15-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.off-topic.geek)
