  Re: MiniBust Gallery now online

(...) Thanks heaps, Gil! Perhaps surprisingly, the Tusken has been the easiest so far-- the smooth features of, say, C-3P0 or Jango Fett are much more difficult to capture at this scale. Thanks again for the comments-- instructions to come! stuart (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Star Wars Dioramas?

Ethan, Not entirely giving up on this. Glad to know that you're one of a few that has hopefully been inspired by our works that you've wanted to ceate your own. Remember to post when yours are completed! Regards, ACPin & Sons (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: K

Jon I like that very much, the design is very different. I think this is hands down your best alpha SO FAR! I can't wait to see the rest. I do hope that you keep all these together so you can take to conference and show them all off. You don't (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: K

(...) Actually. I can tell you that the similarity stems from the shape of the cockpit and how the engines are positioned at the tips of the two wings that are swept upwards. Those two features are found only on the Starfury. I think that is why so (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  O', K!

wow dk grey and orange is nice cockpit reminds me of my triumvirae (which you claim to like) the use of 3D angles keeps it from looking like a flat letter K like some of the other alphabet ships do. That design evolution is phenomenal. Way to do (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

These are incredible Stuart...I'd love them all for my desk. I think the Tusken is my favorite from all them. Aside from the ingenious use of the minifig arms, the respirator shape and greebling is spot on. Cool. Cheers, -Gil (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

GAKK!! Oh man...I can't even start. For me, the biggest challenge of the build is to try and create lines that operate outside of the X,Y axis, yet still work. To me, this view exemplifies success: (URL) can't get over how good that looks. Just (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)
