Re: The Vegetable Fighter Project: Onion-wing Fighter

(...) hmmm... sprout interceptor... haven't thought of that one yet... of course if i do lose my marbles and attempt such a model, you will get full credit. hehheh. Ace (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The Vegetable Fighter Project: Onion-wing Fighter

Not a pumpkin but close... I would have responded earlier but I didn't want to drop any hints until it was done. Hope you like carrots! I must say though, Brad's use of the onion dome for his museum is quite breathtaking.... Ace (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: The Vegetable Fighter Project: Onion-wing Fighter

I've been meaning to respond to comments so I'll start with yours, Eric. I'm glad you like it. If you ever make it west again, you can see it in person 'cause i don't plan on breaking it down. You should see my next entry.. muwahahah! Ace (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: BrickTopia Star Wars Museum

(...) Thanks. I actually have 16 of these canopies, but they are mostly covered by the new addition. I bought 6 of these sets when Target had them (accidentally) marked down by 50%. I bought the rest of the canopies off BrickLink. You can see the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.town)

Re: My impressions of the Imperial Star Destroyer Model ( some "spoilers")

(...) (snip) Thanks... :) I figured I would give some of those that don't yet have it (or haven't started building yet) an idea of what to expect. (...) Yeah, I'm not sure why the axles won't hold well on mine... but it's not a big deal. I've (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: BrickTopia Star Wars Museum

(...) AWESOME use of the onion domes! I counted eight Slave I canopies; do you buy these sets complete, or get the parts you need over Bricklink? Very cool MOC! Nathan Wells PS: the Enron logo looks very ominous in the background, though. (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New LEGO Star Wars Sets... (wishful thinking)

(...) Thanks! That's my dream, working for LEGO. Just think; being surrounded by boxes upon boxes of LEGO and being paid for playing with a children's toy! Nathan Wells (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New LEGO Star Wars Sets... (wishful thinking)

(...) That sounds feasible. Not much playability, but a cheap way to get clones. (...) Again, not much playability, but a cheap Jango. (...) Erm, that scene was pretty much represented in set #7113. (...) I think TLC is though with Episode I (...) (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  BrickTopia Star Wars Museum

This is a giant, new sky-scraper in BrickTopia, built in a Star Wars "Coruscant" theme. Here are the raw BrickShelf photos: (normal resolution photos) (URL) resolution photos) (URL) is the web site with descriptions: (URL) main BrickTopia web site (...)   Re: New LEGO Star Wars Sets... (wishful thinking)

You ought to be working for TLC. All these ideas are really good and very feasible :-) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: LEGO AT-AT and Hailfire Droid (Smaller links)

Yeah, would almost be as cruel as having a Princess Leia available only in a $100 Millennium Falcon set, or Clone Troopers only available in a $90 Republic Gunship set.... (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: New LEGO Star Wars Sets... (wishful thinking)

What about a $30-35 set from the cloning planet (I forget the name) with some new figs, probably variations of the Life on Mars aliens for the cloners and a bunch of Jango clones. Then perhaps a landing pad, with a Jango vs Obi Wan playset. Then (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

New LEGO Star Wars Sets... (wishful thinking)

Here is a list of sets I hope TLC will release sometime: #xxxx Hoth Patrol I $6.99 Includes Luke w/ lightsaber, Taun-Taun, Yeti (just like the one in #7412) and cave (consisting mostly of a white BURP) #xxxx Hoth Patrol II $6.99 Includes Han, (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lando and Mace

(...) I wouldn't count on the NBA minifigs setting any precedent. Note that the "street basketball" figs are in standard yellow. The collectors sets are of real people (and not actors portraying a fictional character). For those we have brown and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: My impressions of the Imperial Star Destroyer Model ( some "spoilers")

(...) snip I think I will consider the sorting of the pieces as well. Normally I work with a big pile of pieces. Although with that many pieces I could get burried! Cheers Felix (22 years ago, 31-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Lando and Mace

As I sit here slightly addled from the evening's festivities (check the date and hour), I have to wonder how this bit of news is not THEE item of hot discussion. I can't believe that TLC finally conceded that mini-yellow is/was not meant to (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: LEGO AT-AT and Hailfire Droid (Smaller links)

(...) I think that would be totally in order. We need to see some snowtroops besides in an AT-AT. It would be really cruel of Lego to make them available only through a very large set. I would also like them to make a rebel Taun-Taun with rider and (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: What's the big deal about the Mini TIE?

(...) Hehe, I remember seeing that. I thought "Wow, what a lame set!" But still, business is business. Kind of sneaky, yet funny. ~Evan Butzlaff (22 years ago, 1-Jan-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate)
