Dunno, but I wouldn't mind building a few. Has anyone scanned the instructions yet? The pic I've seen of it doesn't quite give enough detail to build it. (...) Why were Chicken Elmo, Ticket Me Elmo, Patch Pack Kids, Care Bares and a whole slew of other toys so sought after. IMO two simple reasons. 1) Low Quantity 2) America is CRAZY and in the case of the mini Tie on more 3) NOT FOR RETAIL SALE As (...) That's actually very cool! Nice parody. ;) But besides the obvious big white onion, the color scheme, the slopes, and the cockpit nicely all nicely blend together, making for quite an effect. The big weapons also fit nicely. Can't wait for the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Just wondering, I received my Mini TIE today, and for such a small scale it looks fairly good. But what's so great about it????? Why would anyone pay thirty bucks for this??? In the local mall, a guy selling LEGO from a kiosk was giving away set #3219 Mini TIE Fighter with any $20 SW LEGO purchase. When I asked him if he had any of the other Mini SW sets he told me that they aren't supposed to sell them until December (...) (22 years ago, 24-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)

My mini-ties showed up Friday (one at my mothers, one at my apartment). The poster which shows the snow speeder & at-st (and shows the at-at's in the background) has a blurb that says the mini at-AT's will be available June 2003. (22 years ago, 23-Dec-02, to lugnet.starwars)
