(...) can support lots of weight when used in large numbers. My original (smaller version) design used click hinges for both wing folding and shape. This time around, I used TLCs method for shaping the wing with the grey technic beams like 7166. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Thanks Brian! Swoosh it? Well, during modification, the vertical stab fell on the top of my foot (indescribable pain) so I think I'll remain satisfied with a static display =0) I couldn't guess the weight, but the majority of it is in the (...) (22 years ago, 9-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Great Pics, Matt! My Shuttle is close in size and is pretty heavy, but yours, with it's thicker wings and reinforced features must weigh at least 30 percent more!Do you ever try to "swoosh" it?
