Re: Who's doing the TRU Midnight Run?

<snip> (...) Actually, the "classic re-releases" (Pirate Sets, Town Gas N Go Wash, Sculptures (including RBR) are all deemed by Lego Direct to be "marketable" and not subject to S@H exclusivity. Toys R US, I guess made a deal to have the items in (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Who's doing the TRU Midnight Run?

(...) They had many copies of the Rebel Blockade Runner as well. At least 20. I thought it was a S@H exclusive. Jonathan (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Who's doing the TRU Midnight Run?

I stopped by the Times Square TRU last night. Whatever was scarfed Tuesday was back in stock. There was a life-size Jango Fett sculpture in basic brick colors, except there were many shades to each color, possibly corruption from the glue? I had (...) (22 years ago, 25-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  AOTC sets in Spain

Hi all. Yesterday, a local Toys'r'us organized a Star Wars meeting. Disguised people (stormtroopers, Leias...), original dioramas (Hoth Battle, cantina band...), big Lego sculptures (Darth Vader, R2D2, Jango Fett, Yoda on a stump of a tree), all the (...)   Re: Who's doing the TRU Midnight Run?

(...) Well I want a Republic Gunship. So I'll likely have to do it... KMart apparently was too poor to get them (but they had all the others--Slave One ROCKS!!). -Aaron- (22 years ago, 23-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Republic Gunship

I just finished up the Republic Gunship. Man, this has got to be the best LEGO set ever! To start you get seven minifigs plus the Destroyer Droid. On top of that this thing is HUGE! It puts the Falcon to shame... and the play factor is great. Lots (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Both sides!

(...) Fig torsoes with printing on both the front and back have been around for quite a bit. The Stormtrooper has it on both sides, and 90% of the mini-figs in the soccer sets have a number on their back. --Josh (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Both sides!

(...) LEGO has had double sided printing for quite a while now. They just don't seem to want to do it all the time. So if I were you, I would not hold my breath. :-/ Jude (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Both sides!

I just got the Tusken Raider Encounter and the Jedi Duel. I noticed that the torso of the raiders and Yoda are printed on both sides! Does this mean that all the other minifigs from now on will have double sided printing on them? This is one of the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: 7133 Bounty Hunter....

Actually I want to tell you that the Episode II comic book has been released in my local Barnes and Noble in Chicago and there's a lot of interesting surprises! It costs $17.50 tax (small price for all the movie secrets, I think). Dave. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)

  7133 Bounty Hunter....

Just finished the two speeders. Anakin's is okay...lots of good parts. Zam Wessell's speeder, however, is surprisingly cool. The following is what the pictures don't reveal: Within the structure there are some Technic parts and rubber bands (!) that (...) (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.starwars)
