  Blockade runner pics!

Photos are up at www.fbtb.net Okay so 10018 Darth maul doesn't interest me because the sculptural sets of the sculpture serries I don't find that exciting, though I am waiting to see how the Yoda looks next year. But the Blockade runner is simply (...) (23 years ago, 24-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars) !

Re: Yet another announcement on FBTB!

(...) Agreed totally - going to the Shop at Home website is becoming a real droolfest these days, and as you say, there is more there that I'd like than I can possibly justify financially. It's like being ten all over again :-) Jennifer (URL) (23 years ago, 24-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive.

"John Radtke" <jaradtke@mindspring.com> wrote in message news:GK4orJ.8J4@lugnet.com... (...) Lobot was called "Lando's Assistant" or something like "Cloud City Administrator" in the ESB credits (I watched ESB again on Thursday and noticed this, but (...)   Re: Just a thought...

(...) I thought about that, however, it's all spelled out on fbtb like it was laid out in a catalog. Here is the whole thing: Slipping through an Imperial blockade is almost impossible - unless you're flying the Rebel Blockade Runner! With more than (...)   Re: Yet another announcement on FBTB!

(...) Aaarrghghghhh! I just spent over 700 guilders (that's about 260 dollars) on Shop at home. Now I'll have to wait untill the end of next month for my next pay-check to arrive or else I won't be able to eat. Don't get me wrong: S@H is doing great (...)   Just a thought...

This thought occured to me when I saw the FBTB announcement... Now, I know Tim knows his Star Wars and his LEGO, but unless someone has pictures soon, there is an outside chance that some of the information Tim received was mistaken, to wit: (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive.

(...) There is at least a little bit of grey area when it comes to the use of names not actually in the movies. We are evidently getting a Lobot figure in Jan. I just watched the trilogy last night and noticed that the name Lobot is not even in the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive.

BTW - also bear in mind that only in the 'expanded universe' (everything Star Wars OUTSIDE the movies) is the ship even identified at all. At no time IN the movie is the ship refered to as anything other than "The Princess' Ship". And now a bit of (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Keep in mind that it's not the Tantive.

I expect a rather wild mix of white, tan, light and dark grey, with the new dark red only used for markings (stripes). Take the UCS X-wing for example. The designers at LEGO are said to be color-blind at times, but I hope they're not THAT (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.starwars)
