Now, I know Tim knows his Star Wars and his LEGO, but unless someone has
pictures soon, there is an outside chance that some of the information Tim
received was mistaken, to wit: Everyone is pretty sure that the Rebel
Blockade Runner (like the Tantive IV) is mostly white...however, there is a
similar ship, in the current Star Wars mythology, that is similar to the
Blockade Runner, but is completely DARK RED...I can TOTALLY see someone not
completely up-to-date with the full Star Wars story mixing these up...

It's LARGE ($200 set!), it's Corellian built (like the Blockade Runner-so it
has similar shapes), it's current (Ep.s 1& 2), and it's dark red...ladies
and gentlemen, I present to you...:

Whaddaya' think?

I thought about that, however, it's all spelled out on fbtb like it was laid
out in a catalog.  Here is the whole thing:

Slipping through an Imperial blockade is almost impossible - unless you're
flying the Rebel Blockade Runner! With more than 1,700 pieces, this
Corellian corvette model is so detailed and realistic you'll be ready to
launch your own covert mission against the Empire. Built to scale, the Rebel
Blockade Runner measures 71cm x 28cm x 17cm and features LEGO bricks in an
all-new colour - dark red. Add this amazing model to your classic Star Wars
collection.

OK, I see "Imperial blockade", "corvette model", "against the Empire"
(Empire didn't exist in Ep. 1), and "classis Star Wars" all written up like
it's a sales pitch.  Because it sounds so much like a sales pitch, I have to
believe its the RBR, not the republic cruiser.  Also, Check out the
dimensions.  Maybe someone can extrapolate them and compare the LxWxH of a
RC and RBR and see which one fits closer.

Jason
