I've visited this site before, and while it's an interesting interpretation, the author makes two major mistakes: 1) Trying to impose known physical limitations on unknown technology and movie special effects. We all know that movie props and (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

How to get a UCS X-wing cheap

Someone was asking a week or so ago about how to get a UCS X-Wing on sale. Here's how I did it. At TRU, I found one in a clearance bin. It had been opened. I remember reading somewhere (I think this newsgroup) that there should be 20 or 21 bags of (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Nah, the Star Wars universe has "Refreshers" which, as far as I can tell is a magic box that makes people clean and clothed in a matter of seconds. :*) Great ship, though. Definitely shows that you took the extra care. Sean (24 years ago, 24-Jan-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

(...) Wow, that's pretty sweet... Cool model. I think I agree with you there, it needs to be a bit taller. Battle Droids only crouch slightly on a STAP, they usually look like they're standing up. Hey all, Just added some pics of my newest creation. (URL) not exactly color-coordinated right, but brown is hard to come by. Also, after looking at it, I think I'm gonna add a brick or to to the height, under the engines. -Kleric (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)
