Re: New 3426 Adidas Team Transport found at WalMart

(...) I was looking on the Shop@Home Website, and the set is listed at $19.99 and comes with "mini adidas soccer ball". Not bad considering that they are pretty close to the red soccer busses, at the same price.... a real interesting comment.... the (...) As I posted in a posting earlier, I bought and combined a complete bus and a partial one to make a deluxe sized one (and added a bunch of other elements, well some white and blue bricks, and white plates, and 2 2X2 blue transparent "wall" pieces.   Re: Soccer Figs?

(...) Agreed. The women's team set is the best source of female minifigs out there--several different face and hair styles, including blonde! Bruce Hietbrink (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Soccer Figs?

(...) All the US sets I have are stickers. The soccer bus and women's team sets together make great ordinary people. Note: I don't have most of the sets. (23 years ago, 15-Nov-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Soccer Figs?

Are the numbers on the back of the figs stickers? I guess I could buy one of the sets and find out, but I have a particular purpose for these figs and need them to be plain. Thanks in advance. sun (23 years ago, 15-Nov-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Teams and stickers

Hi all, Yesterday night my team (FC Porto) got on to the second phase of the UEFA Champions' League, and I wondered if anyone had made stickers from *actual teams*. So, does anyone know anything about soccer teams' stickers to use with LEGO? Even (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: New 2002 Soccer Sets

Am I the only one who would like more variety in the hair of my soccer players? I think the new sets would have been perfect to include some 'Dash' hair or maybe some Harry Potter set Dumbledore hair. The Star Wars hair might be a little much but (...) (23 years ago, 1-Nov-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: New 2002 Soccer Sets

(...) Good idea -- in the meantime set 3421 looks like a fairly small set with two sliding plates. I don't think it has the new goals though. The oversized gloves in the goalie set 3422 look pretty cool too! --DaveL (23 years ago, 30-Oct-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.sports)

  Re: New sports

(...) Baseball has been very popular in Japan for a few decades now and is also pretty popular in many South and Central American countries. Just my two cents. -Jonathan (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: New sports

I think that the green base plates will be the starting point for either an official or fan created version of Quidditch. There will need to be lots of those Naboo Swamp clear posts or clear axles to hold the kids and their brooms up, but it would (...) (23 years ago, 4-Sep-01, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.harrypotter)
