    It's simple and sweet, but as others pointed out it would be desireable to not have to worry about the "sex" of the rings. What if you replaced two of the corner "sockets" on the female wall port with "pins" from the male wall port. Make sure that (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.space)

     (...) Aww shoot...why don't you have a "soft seal" for ships that are meant to rearly dock together. This way you can forego the pegs altogether and just mash the ports together with your hands.     Sorry. I shoulda' been more specific... The last two pics on the page have labels of 'Two "wall" doors docking' and 'The "wall" and "floor" doors docking' and they're swapped when you look at the photos. As for the pegs burning off...
