(...) Well I may be wrong by I think this is a Cruise (space) Ship and that might be the bursars desk. I am sure the fact that its a woman was purely a coincidence. Eric Kingsley (23 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

(...) Obviously Mladen was referring to the automated desk unit designed to greet people, and behind which a hard-working procedural officer was taking a well-earned break! Dave! (23 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: 12 pics of Benevolent Grace interior —Joel Kuester
(...) No offense intended :) It is a cruise ship, and the woman sitting at the desk is the passenger manager. She checks the visitors into their rooms, and helps them with any questions they may have. She is also the passengers' most direct link to (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: 12 pics of Benevolent Grace interior —Dave Schuler
Joel: Fabulous work! Even when I'm able to assemble a large structure I have trouble filling the interior with eye-pleasing details, so I'm especially delighted with all your pictures. In this one: (...) my guess on the (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)

Re: 12 pics of Benevolent Grace interior —Joel Kuester
(...) Thanks, for the compliments! As for the white disc, that is a 3d holographic projector. The stand in front of it is the control panel for the data access.         Re: 12 pics of Benevolent Grace interior —Dave Schuler
(...) I had it figured for an information terminal of some kind, but I didn't know if it was just a viewscreen or something more elaborate. Once again, very cool! Dave! (23 years ago, 5-Mar-01, to lugnet.space)
