I'm not sure what to say about your models. I've been browsing lugnet
since october or november of 2000 and noticed that you've recieved most all
the praise that a mortal man can recieve. Anything more would place you on
an equal footing with the gods.
Ever since I saw your Shiva motor bike i've been astounded by one new
design after the next. Then I saw your IPS freighter. At first glance I
wasn't quite sure if it was actually your model, then I saw your
'trademark' communications cluster. When i began looking at the individual
pics, I was pleased with the simplicity of the model 'something that I could
actually build (minus a color scheme and a couple of details)'. I was
impressed with the cargo lights and the sliding door (taken from the 'hoth
base' I think), the living space was nice and the accessable engine rooms.
These are details that most mocs seem to lack.
Your crimson stealth ship is awe inspiring. Something that I cannot
build. Lots of small details and very functional.
I liked the IPS freighter more. There are so many combat models
appearing that I've grown numb. It seems that I'm not the only one. You
recieved many more replys to the freighter (unfortunately negative) than
this newest of your line of awe-inspiring models. Maybe it's just me but I
think we need to see more non-militant models.
On a personal note, I took your suggestion and had some pictures
developed onto a disk so that I can do a test on Brickshelf. I hope they
turn out.
Am looking forward to seeing your next model.
By the way, does anybody know if Dan Jassim is working on another big
moc or has he simply slowed down for a while?
