Re: First Test of the Spamcake Drive —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Yes, so imagine the danger if they get their hands on a *gasp* Spamcake Drive! Why, you could have a liberal dose of Spamcake sprinkled into a tear in the fabric of space-time...or worse, on Melba toast! (...) One can always fight fire with (...)         Re: First Test of the Spamcake Drive —Jon Palmer
Thats it! TREET! LOL! Someone has to make a drive that uses Treet! Or maybe another odd canned meat like kipper snacks. mmmmm kipper snacks on melba toast. Or maybe that weird dried ham you can get in a jar. -Jon -why am I suddenly worried that (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: First Test of the Spamcake Drive —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) I'm not sure there are any canned meats quite like Spam and Treet. Most people forget about Treet altogether, not realising that it's sort of like the "ugly cousin" of the immortalised Spam. It's one step above Spam, yet several notches below (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: First Test of the Spamcake Drive —Eric Joslin
(...) Above Spam? ABOVE Spam? Have you been smoking crack? Treet is Spam's poor white trash cousin who escapes his trailer home and his housecoat wearing, Bon Bon eating, Jerry Springer watching wife nagging him to do something about the old Ford (...)          Re: First Test of the Spamcake Drive —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) No no no no no. You've confused the scale. Down is good! (Believe me, I loathe Bumblebee Tuna, but it's got nowhere near the pain quotient of Treet or Spam.) And actually, you may be paying Treet a compliment with your characterisation. ;) (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) Oh. I see. (...) If you're a Jeff Foxworthy fan. "You might find this routine funny *if*.... you're into home trepanning." (...) Hmm. You didn't go to Carnegie Mellon for grad school by any chance, did you? That's where this guy ended up. eric (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: First Test of the Spamcake Drive —Lindsay Frederick Braun
(...) Not that it's entirely out of the universe, either. (...) Or if the alternative is worse! (...) Mmmm...broiled Spam with a slice of Carnegie Mellon on the side. Nope, didn't go there...but I was downwind from it, I think, which could explain (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: First Test of the Spamcake Drive —Tony Hafner
(...) Oh, please- you guys are way over the top. There's nothing sinister about pan-frying Spam. That's the first step towards Spambled eggs- which is a breakfast that my kids really like. You think I'm kidding, don't you? I've never thought of Spam (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Re: First Test of the Spamcake Drive —Eric Joslin
(...) More like "pray you're kidding". (...) Sorry, here your experience and mine differs. I had nothing against Spam in theory until this guy insisted on cooking it. Made the common area (this was a suite of rooms in college, not an apartment) (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
