Well I did, I went back to take another look a couple of times to reflect. 75
bricks is 90 studs, if I’m reading my handy-dandy “Legometer” correcty. It
looks at least that big in the photos.
It looks to me like a Space Police II lock-up on a massive scale. You’ve got
the green minifigs, the green-lt. gray-trans green color scheme with red
accents, the gantry looks more like a lock-up than a maintenance set-up, you’ve
got a vaguely Blacktron-ish looking dude with a vaguely PO-ed expression on his
face in the mech cockpit. I like the fact that you combined Space Police II
with Blacktron I instead of Blacktron II.
In my opinion, you could still do more to make this even better. I would try
adding more details, like hoses, antennae, radar arrays, greebled-up equipment
sections, etc. Of course, I sometimes wind up going overboard with that stuff
myself. It’s still pretty freakin’ sweet as-is, and I do like the clean
smoothness of it. I like the massive scale of it, too, and that is of course
your speciality!
