  Re: MOC: Spaceport Moonbase

(...) SNIP Wow. This is really beautiful stuff. I really like the way you've given everything such detail yet nothing comes across as too fussy or overly detailed. The ship especially is slick and clean; a real accomplishment for a ship that side. (...) (20 years ago, 5-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  MOC: Minifig-scale Tachikoma

Since Lenny was kind enough to highlight the little bugger, I guess I should at least post a bit about it: (URL) Click me!>> It's taken me two months of waiting for parts to arrive via Bricklink, but it's finally done - a minifig scale Tachikoma (...)   Re: Space Builders Self Test

(...) Zen and the Art of Brick Building :P The questionaire is interesting, btw (the real one, that is, not the tabula rasa). Bruce (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Space Builders Self Test

(...) Although terribly philosophical, Bruce does make an interesting point. I think gremlins ate the first post. AMS (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Space Builders Self Test

(...) Hahaha! Good one Bruce. I should add that Aaron has fixed it, and now there are words where there should be. Excellent. -Lenny (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Space Builders Self Test

(...) That's because it's about "space", silly. :) In addition to reflecting the empty reaches of space, the questionaire also illustrates the infinite possibilities for creative MOCs, as LEGO is like a blank page where you can create whatever you (...)   Space Builders Self Test

Check out the Space Builder's Self Test Questionairre: www.lugnet.com/~1164/space I wrote this a long time ago, in an office far far away that didn't allow me to browse the internet. But goofing off on MS Word looked more like work, so... Basically, (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SWATBot

(...) The knee joint is a bit tight- it may be a little damaging to the shoulder joint on the skeleton arm. But it is really strong. I've had a couple of those pieces put together that way for well over 3 years, and there doesn't appear to be any (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) I didn't even think of posting there. I picture mecha as bigger things with people inside, but wow- thanks for the sidebar! (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: SWATBot

Wow, that lever/skeleton-arm knee joint is great. Is that a "natural fit"? It looks a little forced, but the results are stunning. Very sleek design overall, too. -Brendan (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Melpomene

(...) Awesome, you finished her! I vividly recall ogling the ship during NWBC, and listening to your description. I'm glad you finished her and posted. Great work! Kelly (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Melpomene

Now that is a NICE ship. If only I had the time, inspiration and greebly bits to build such a beast :) hmmm, mabie I can do one in Black and Trans-Dark-Blue with Grey and Dark Grey (not Bley and Dark Bley :) highlights... (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space)

(...) OMG, I'll say. That's cool Tony. Crossposted to .mecha. (I'll update the sidebar too.) That's pretty hip, I'm mostly impressed by the fact you got two levers that'll hold the bot up. More impressed that the levers hold all the weight. Cool. (...) (20 years ago, 4-May-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Marvin the Paranoid Android

(...) Either way, space is more fun! I really like it Lenny, but all the black should be switched with dark gray. Then exchange the light gray with white that you'll buy from stores.
