  Re: The Shrike

(...) Lol! Well I did say that some of my Mocs were around 5 years old! As far as color placement goes, Kirby, I feel that it is more an issue of personal preference, but your comment is duly noted. In answer to your question, there are only 2 that (...) (20 years ago, 30-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The Shrike

Well, I'm not much good at mech-building myself. I like the posability that most of your mech have. In fact, most of the mecha are actually built quite well. I guess I would suggest working on color placement. A lot of your color schemes would have (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The Shrike

(...) Thanks for the input, Kirby. It's something to consider for the Shrike, but when I built the Gila, I purposely made it old school. I primarily used pieces that were available in the 80's because it was my goal to give it a classic space (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Microscale battlecruiser "Triton"

Thanks for the input! I suppose I could've added more hull detail. I think I was too over-concerned with not adding too many greebles and forgot about inserting other pieces that might've added detail without sacrificing the smoothness I wanted to (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Microscale battlecruiser "Triton"

I noticed the on Brickshelf yesterday. It's a cool shape and you didn't over do the red. It does need more "texture" though. The greebles you have are very functional looking, but the rest of the hull needs something. Most movie models have panel (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: One angry man's complaint about the "MOC highlight"

I don't mind that kind of silly! :-) But it's REALLY silly to highlight whining. 'nuff said, rant off. (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: The Shrike

You should try to rebuild these with more recent parts and color strategy. I think that these would have went over well 5-6 years ago. If you were to retain the shape and functionality of both MOCs with a rebuild of recent parts I think these could (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: FUGLI

(...) Reminds me of the Zentradi ship. Here's an example: (URL) As such, I think the FUGLI is cool. Jeff (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Thanks Lenny + My Revised Thoughts About CSF

(...) Thank you Lenny. I'm glad to see your quick return! :D While I am at it, I want to explain my below post: (URL) always try to stay out of these types of discussions, but today I was feeling a but grumpy and posted. Well, I've looked back and (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  The Shrike

I've just recently started taking pictures and posting my Mocs. I have a few that go back as far as 5 years. Almost all of them are mecha or mecha related, but here is one that is definitely space. It was built around the time the Star Wars Imperial (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Spider Tank

Here's a new MOC, it's a Spider Tank Mech: (5 URLs) brickshelf gallery> I'll do a MOCpage when the site's back up. This MOC was heavily inspired by (but not a faithful replica of) a spider tank featured in the anime Ghost in the Shell--Stand Alone (...)   Microscale battlecruiser "Triton"

Here is the first of my offerings in microscale. I really intended to do something small for my first microscale, but I guess this one really wanted to be built. I wanted to put a lot more guns on this thing, but I didn't want to over do the (...) (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space) !

Re: 1/275 Scale Salamis Kai from Zeta Gundam

(...) Wait. That's right, veritechs are from Robotech. Love that SDF-1. So does yers transform? :P (20 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

I over-reacted. + Some thoughts on the curatorship

Okay, yesterday was a REALLY bad day for me (online drama + problems at work and at home, etc) and Keith's post was the straw that broke the camel's back. After some intensive beer therapy and excessive vomitting, I'm back. So this is what I came up (...) (20 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: One angry man's whining about the "MOC highlight" and his need to be a loner

(...) And the crowd goes wild! (...) That's not fair. While I'd love to take sole credit for such a demolition, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the Freemasons, I couldn't have done it without the Freemasons... well...and Little Debbie (...) (20 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: One angry man's complaint about the "MOC highlight"

(...) Maybe not the list, but can you give a few examples? (20 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: One angry man's complaint about the "MOC highlight"

(...) First off, I've got nothing whatsoever to say about Keith's post. That's his deal and I really don't have an opinion one way or another. And obviously I don't need to say anything to shut down your yawn-worthy elitist comment. It's that tired. (...) (20 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space) !

One angry man's whining about the "MOC highlight" and his need to be a loner

Wow, the ivory tower that was lugnet.space has finally fallen to the pettiness that has fouled the rest of lugnet. And all it took was one man, a viral attack, and a pack of lies. Then everyone jumps on the bandwagon to make lugnet.space sound like (...) (20 years ago, 28-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: New Poll: Add wide corridors to Moonbase?
