Re: Childhood Dreams Come True...Classic Space Homeworld Mod

(...) Haha, that's awesome, glad to see I've made another convert. Yes, half the fun of Homeworld is just watching. The 60Megs of screencaps on my hd attest to that. :p (...) At first the textures will be only one color scheme, however engine color (...) (20 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: various space MOCs

(...) Do you mean the gray spaceliner that had one of the sides crushed? haha. If so, that one is on a post here somewhere. But there was also some other micro moonbases that I didn't work on (and I think one got dropped rather nastily too) Jeff (20 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Childhood Dreams Come True...Classic Space Homeworld Mod

(...) After having seen some of your screenshots, I went out and bought Homeworld (yes, for like $3 plus S&H from an Amazon merchant). The Lego stuff is pretty cool, and I'll probably try that out when you are done... but I bought the game just (...) (20 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Childhood Dreams Come True...Classic Space Homeworld Mod

(...) Thanks! (...) Yes, the mod will be free to download. It's still some ways from being complete or even playable, but I'd say by the end of the year, maybe the end of the summer it should be done. However, the ship models (untextured) are almost (...)   Re: Childhood Dreams Come True...Classic Space Homeworld Mod

(...) This is looking really cool. I'm assuming you're going to release this when you're done. Freeware? If so, I'll have to buy a copy of Homeworld when you're done. Jeff (20 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Captain Blackhole has a new home, Blackskull Fortress

Captain Blackhole, the meanest pirate ever to ply the seven spaceways, has a new home. Notable is that, at the time it was built, it had at least one of every computer listed as the .space computer of the month in it. See if you can spot them all :) (...)   Re: various space MOCs

Sweet Stuff Jeff!! This ain't all of it either! So What happened to the "damaged" one from our SEALUG guest that day? Or have I missed your post on that one? Nice work! (20 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

I,for one, can't wait to see what you come up with. Get building : P (...) (20 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

My First Real Dive Into The World Of Mech-Dom: The KOP Trooper

Greetings, mechers!* I would like to present my latest creation: the KOP (Keeper Of the Peace) Trooper. It's not my first mech or mecha, but it's the first one I actually came away from feeling really pleased about. Usually I'm a castle-builder, but (...)   Re: OSS Audrey

(...) Yeah, I would have to agree on the color criticism...I wish I had more pieces of either black or white (and conversely, I wish Lego built certain pieces in certain colors...but I won't go into that). The next ship will hopefully be a whole (...) (20 years ago, 20-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Omicron Civilian Space Liner

Overall very nice, but I think the engines need some work to live up to the rest of the ship. Other people mentioned the landing gear and I have to agree. It'd suck for that to fall over and break : ) -JSM (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: OSS Audrey

I love the shape. I think the engine needs more detail though. I'm not sure if I like the color scheme, It almost needs to be all black (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: OSS Audrey

Um, I do not know where to start... I am stunned. This is a beautiful piece of work. What I like the most is that you maintain a Lego block like shape without allowing it to detract from the smoothness of the design in any way. And the interior (...)   Re: Omicron Civilian Space Liner

Overall I think it is a very nice MOC. I love the passenger windows and the overhead baggage compartments and all the other little details. After some thought though I do have some reservation with respect to the landing gear and the cockpit. The (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: various space MOCs

Very well executed MOCs! The sleek and sturdy looks on both "omnicron" fighters just cannot be disliked. Anyway, keep building! -Josh (20 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Omicron Civilian Space Liner

Jeff, I find this moc satisfying in a way that only Charles Bronson films can. It seems more like a pleasure yacht than a space liner, but it is cool nonetheless. The placement of the windows, the stripped down greebles (damn I hate that word) and (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: OSS Audrey

WOW, I'm astounded that the ship holds that many mini-fig! ...and this (URL) pic> is so awesome! Cool design and well thought out! Glad you had a chance to share it. thanks, e (20 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Bladerunner vehicle?

(...) Hi Dave! A kind samaritan emailed me a link to the very page that you saw lo these many years ago. (URL) here> it is, exactly as you remember it. If the samaritan wishes, I'll reveal his name. Nice domain name, BTW. Makes me want to drive like (...) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: OSS Audrey

(...) Thanks Tony - you always have great constructive feedback. I feel like after the spaceliner I've learned enough to take a non-civilian ship "to the next level" and really get the details right. I'm almost petrified as I feel like I know enough (...) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Omicron Civilian Space Liner

(...) The hatches are great, and the overhead compartments rock! I don't recall seeing a larger ship that is this studless. And it is done well, as you didn't just resort to tiles. That's what the SNOT is all about. The folding mechanism for the (...) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
