Wow! This is beautiful, Joseph!
When I saw this on brickshelf I thought it was some scratchbuilt model (the kind
you build with foam, glue, etc.) Then I enlarged the pics and just got blown
away by the clever part usage.
The front cabin, spine, and weapons are a real delight to look at. Very nicely
done my friend. Your use of curvilinear forms gives the whole ship such an
organic look. It reminded me of some of the Zentradi ships from Macross.
My main criticism centers around the engine block though; it just look way too
plain compared to the rest of the ship. Its overall form isnt that bad, and in
fact makes for a nice contrast with the front. The problem is that its just so
bare and boring. Giving it a bit more texture (i.e. tiles) would really help
make it jive better with the rest of the ship.
Regardless, this is awesome work Joseph. Keep it up!
