Saw this on lego.com —Andrew Horvatits
Hey everybody, Today I was surfing the web and I went to lego.com. While there I saw this: (URL) "his" creations there is a picture of something that I'm pretty sure is Jon Palmer's Q-wing. It even has the same name! Could someone please verify that (...) (20 years ago, 8-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Saw this on lego.com —Chris Perron
(...) That really does look like Jon's. I am very sure of it, since looking at the picture how it shows the top view in a smaller box, and Jon is the only person I remember doing that. Stealing a MOC is not right, at least I don't think it is. Chris (...) (20 years ago, 8-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

That is indeed Jon's Q-wing. I'm emailing Lego about it, because borrowing ideas is one thing, but stealing a MOC is another. (20 years ago, 8-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks. When I first saw it I wasn't sure if i could do anything so I brought it up here. Andrew Horvatits (still looking for a good title) (20 years ago, 8-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Saw this on lego.com —David Laswell
(...) Look's like Jon's to me, as well. The photography quality/style is way out of whack between the two MOCs, which is often a telling sign that image theft has taken place. (...) I've had someone point out where one of my MOCs had been posted in (...) (20 years ago, 8-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Saw this on lego.com —Mark Sandlin
(...) Kids on the LEGO club pages take credit for other people's MOCs all the time. It's happened to me before. It's especially funny when someone uploads a photo of a stock MegaBloks set. -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (20 years ago, 8-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) I wish my models were cool enough for some kid on lego.com to pilfer. :( A (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Just what I was thinking. Although on the other hand, they also pilfer official Megablok sets. Their taste must not be very good. -JHK (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Saw this on lego.com —Chris Perron
(...) In that case it is an insult to Jon. Chris Perron (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Saw this on lego.com —Jon Palmer
     (...) I got pwned. Maybe I'll mention it to LEGO. Thanks for the heads up. [ j o n ] (20 years ago, 8-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Saw this on lego.com —Andrew Horvatits
(...) Your welcome. Any good ideas for a rank or title for me? (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Saw this on lego.com —Alexander Johnston
(...) Oh, yeah. That's definetly Palmer's work. I'd recognize it anywhere. It would appear that there is a design theif in Lego's mists. (20 years ago, 9-Aug-04, to lugnet.space)
