Nice MOC - with all of the hover MOCs, its nice to see some wheels now and then. Is digging equipment in the future? (...) Cool! As a former heavy-equipment operator, I think you absolutley nailed the bed/canopy as well as the large rubber tires. I also really like the detailed chamber in the truck body; great for maintenance on mining equipment! Does this rig (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks for the comments. I wanted to do something different than a hover-something. And with the weighty payload that a dumptruck might carry, I figured regular tires would be more realistic. That, and I wanted to finally use those big (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks for the comments, Nick. Yep, there's two pull-back motors tied to the rear axel. It actually works quite well on tile. I figured there wouldn't be many fans of the cockpit. But with how bulky space suits are at this point in time, there (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.space)
