The title of the post sounds like a sequel in a video game series based on the
newest faction to threaten the peoples and planets of space, but in actuality
its the English translation of my newest JE moc, the Liang Shou.

The dual nature of the fighter is evident at first glance; twin torpedos peek
from launch tubes at the ships sides, while two double laser arrays and two
secondary lasers bristle around the cockpit.
Despite what public documents may tell you
about the connection between the Jade Empire and their onetime ally, the Eastern
Block, friendship, communication, and technology trade between the two have
crumbled, and in fact opposing fleet elements have met in combat. Intelligence
units for both factions have evaluated the abilities and strategies of their
foes, and the Liang Shou is a direct Jade answer to the recent threat posed by
the EB Gorshkov fighter.
Only a couple progress images, since this came together pretty fast as a short
diversion from a PCS project Ive got going on:

| (...) Ryan- Excellent stuff: nifty design that is sleek and exciting. I think the colors are balanced and the detailing is right on (kudos for use of those printed parts!). I like that cockpit design a lot too. Now, regarding criticism...I'm saying (...) (20 years ago, 15-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

As far as I can recall, I've never used those droid fighter printed parts before, so this was a good chance to utilize them in a way that enhanced the (...) | This blatant attack on the Eastern Block will not go unanswered, former comrade. This pathetic excuse for a fighter will be easily surpassed by current projcts and prototypes. Expect a tactical response to your attack on Eastern Block forces that (...) (20 years ago, 17-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Cool job incorporating some dino tail bits in there, but I don't really think they work for (...) (20 years ago, 18-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
