    Robriq Skullbot —Jon Palmer
Robriq is proud to unveil the Skullbot. 3vil contracted Robriq to create a bot that would aid in the destruction of the Star Ranger menace, and the company filled the order with pride. This Robriq is bristling with plenty of firepower and 3vil: (4 (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

        Re: Robriq Skullbot —Jean-Pascal Rignault
Very Japanese! ('not sure my English is correct on that one...) Bravo! JP. (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Robriq Skullbot —Ley Ward
(...) I think that's a brilliant use of the skeleton bodies (and so appropriate to this bot.) So, the envelope gets another push. Nice work. I just have to ask; how much does 3vil pay for such a contract or is this just out of the 'goodness' of your (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Robriq Skullbot —Jon Palmer
(...) Thanks man, I was sadistically pleased with the skeleton bodies myself. I believe they're taken from vanquished Star Rangers. Robriq is not concerned with profit, but with fulfilling the customer's wishes as best they can. (URL) [ j o n ] (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

        Re: Robriq Skullbot —Roy Whitford
...evil Robriqs? Let alone 3vil Robriqs? I fear the universe may never be the same... Roy W. (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Robriq Skullbot —Jon Palmer
(...) You misconstrue. Robriq is not evil or 3vil. We merely wish to supply human, alien and demon alike with the highest quality bot money can buy. (URL) [ j o n ] (URL) zemi.net> (URL) moonbase> (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Robriq Skullbot —Roy Whitford
(...) Mmm...capitalism... In all seriousness, though, it's a cool bot. The eyes on either side provide an interesting spin, and the use of oddball parts (namely the skeleton torsos) really shows versatility in design. The skull on top is a very nice (...)         Re: Robriq Skullbot —Jason S. Mantor
Cool, but it needs 6 legs for the creepy factor : ) It'd be cool to animate a bunch of these swarming over a moonbase ! (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

         Re: Robriq Skullbot —Jon Palmer
(...) I actually made 6 legs but went with 4 in the end to keep it more compact. Seeing these swarming over a moonbase...red eyes glowing...now that would be 3vil. I agree.         Re: Robriq Skullbot —Jon Palmer
I've been messing around with pictures taken with very little light. Here are 2 pics I took lit by my monitor only: (2 URLs) My old camera is only 2.1 megapixels. These pictures are fuzzy at 1600 but look ok when shrunk down. I kind of like the idea (...) (20 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

         Re: Robriq Skullbot —Jean-Pascal Rignault
(...) Mine is also 2.1 megapixels I think. I would care if I was taking pictures hoping to print them. But as long as most of the time the pics I take will be distributed (shown) over the web, what matters more for me is the weight of the picture. (...)          Re: Robriq Skullbot —Jon Palmer
(...) I actually think this is the first robriq with *two* eyes. It's symmetrical so there's another eye on the other side. Freaky. I'll try not to make it a habit. Up with cyclops.         Re: Robriq Skullbot —Chris Maddison
(...) Very creepy-archnidy cool. Like the use of the skeleton bodies. And the big red eyes really stand out against the black and white. Almost moreso than usual, as if 3vil itself permeates from them....<cold shudder>. -Chris (20 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
