  Re: Space Cargo Container Standard?

(...) Looks like a moonbase trailer park... :-) Actually, that's not a bad idea either. Why pack your belongings when you move? Just uncouple the module and transport the whole works. -Duane (22 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: P-38 Contest Entry: S/FB-12 "Lightning 2"

(...) Thanks for the compliments! I didn't mind the wing droop terribly, but it was due to a weak structure, not design, so I thought it best for the bricks to fix it. I might change that though. I first came up with the engine design a while back (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: That old set FEELING...

(...) Nah, I wouldn't flame you for that. It's easy to see the classic space through rose-colored glasses and I congratulate you at taking an honest, critical look at the sets. I remember when classic space came out. I really didn't know what to (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.

Beautiful! Even though it's sub-minifig scale, it's an awesome creation. I like how it's suspended on the black stands, which is absolutely essential for such a fragile ship (only intended to be operated outside of a gravity well). (22 years ago, 26-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.

(...) In case anyone is wondering, the proportions of The Monolith are 1x4x9; not 1x2x4 as (URL) some knucklhead> once suggested. Dave! FUT OT.fun (22 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.

(...) Just adding another Me Too. This was so stunning that I spent the last couple of days thinking about it to the point I dug out the movie and watched it again. I thought I'd point out that they do, in fact, refer to it as Discovery I at the (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Open the pod bay doors, HAL.

(...) oh my goodness, Jason, this is amazing, I'm sure you've heard it before, but I had to mention it. I almost think the sin of cutting a box wrench is worth it in this case. Thanks, George (22 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Slick Brick

Tony, You seem to have found that building wind. This racer is quite nice - both its studlessness and all the interactive features you built in - stuff like the lockers and the neato landing gear. I also enjoy the implied violence of the racing (...) (22 years ago, 29-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
