  Re: Argent Supra

(...) Well, it's funny you mention that because Julius' brother IS a space pirate... building his ship is some ways off though. (...) Thanks Doug! Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Argent Supra

(...) Fair enough - there's been a range of opinions on the printing :-) I can honestly say that I'm quite satisfied with how that part turned out. I prefer a certain amount of surface detail, large plain surfaces generally bug me on a spaceship (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Starhawk Space Racer

(...) Nice shape. The overly-large nacelles make an interesting contrast with the sleek fuselage. I think it looks a bit plain with the all-white colour scheme though. Some racing stripes would have been a nice addition. Great cockpit (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Not another sheep!

No, it's not another sheep, it's two more sheep. First of all you can all stop searching; the Space Hippies have found the golden fleece. (Yes, it's a verrrah niiice!) (URL) Secondly, you have, of course, herd of a cash cow... (URL) Well, you'd have (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, FTX) !

  Show. When is it.

When is the show? I have 4 escape shuttle. Think early station module, current station slum escape pod module with 4 completely mismatched pods. 1x Regulation Emergency Space Fighter Corp Unit (SFC-PSP) . "More Muscle than computer controls." 2 Day (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space)

  Re: Space Bubble Car

(...) That's a nice set of wheels there. It makes me think of the New Beetle updated for lunar conditions. Fun, fun, fun... Peace and bubbles, Professor Whateverly (URL) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mirage

(...) Teeny, huh... That thing is massive (at least, compared to the scale I've been working at recently) and a fine example of how to put together a harmonious creation. I'm talking 'music' here. Well done. That stack of trans-neon green plates is (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Starhawk Space Racer

(...) Hi Dan, Well, let me be the first to say wow. Excellent racer. The articulation makes it look very manoeuvrable and that tail is pure velocity. Great work as always. Peace and whooshing, Professor Whateverly (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: My P-38 entry - not the Paparazzi-38:)

(...) Sea Monkey P-38? Hmmmm...and the nuclear flash....hmmm... Give me a week or so:) I have some ideas... Joe .space paparazzi! (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Solara Hovercar MOC

(...) That's hilarious. Distractions are good. (...) Thank you. There are pics coming soon of the engine and a couple more of the car in a more natural light. And, um, sorry about the distraction ;-) (...) Thanks again JHK. Peace and distraction, (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Professor Whateverley gets in a little research...

(...) Hello Folks. Lest anyone should misinterpret my recent silence, I've been working long hours with barely a few moments to lurk. It looks like I have a lot of catching up to do... My research at brickfest went very well. I believe I may have (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: B'Omar and F'Omar Deep Space Fighters

(...) Thanks, the globelike canopy would be tricky at minifig scale: I like the 'neck' between the cockpit and the fuselage. (...) It's built... pics will be up in a few days. (...) Absolutely! (URL) ...very swooshable for something so small. Cheers (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  [MOC] YA40K Chaos Talon Fighter-Bomber

Yet another in my on going colection of models from GW's Warhammer 40K. (URL) model here (URL) a generic gray for first version and I will most likely do a Nurgle or/and a WordBearers later. Best DaveG (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space)

  Re: Space Bubble Car

(...) The driver's seat is placed within the bubble... it's a 2x4 plate with 2x1 plates with horizontal handles at both ends. It's a fairly snug fit, though you can move the driver through the roll axis with bit of shaking (so he can 'lean' into the (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Looking for Eschenstein

Hello! (...) Well, this is the disadvantage of the recent privacy practice at BrickShelf :-( Unfortunatelly I can't find any connection to any persons I know, sorry. I'm not even sure if the person who built this creations is really German. At least (...)   Starhawk Space Racer

Greetings! I had posted a teaser of this model several weeks ago. I enjoyed whooshing it around the apartment while I waited on some plain white 3 x 12 slopes from Bricklink to complete it (I didn't want to Brasso my only pair of JSF slopes). (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space) !

Re: My P-38 entry - not the Paparazzi-38:)

(...) Very slick. I wouldn't have done the patchy color scheme myself, but that may merely be due to my limited imagiantion. It's almost System scale, only a bit beefier - good to play with, but not too heavy to whoosh as mine tend to be. (...) Well (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  P-38 contest

Just a short note to say wow. The responses to this contest have been nothing short of awesome. Kudos to all the entrants and to the contest originator! That is all. (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: More Bluebird fighter pics, was: Blue Pod...

(...) Agreed - minifigs shouldn't gasp for air in space, like in the escape pod in the first M. Falcon set (from Greg Hyland's comics at FBTB.net): (URL) (...) yup, i tried to make the cool overall shape of the ship first, but the pieces i had left (...)
