Re: It would be cool to have...

(...) Agreed. One reason I deserted Space (for the moment) was that Classic-Castle is a friendly, easy-to-use site with a great community. Unlike .space, the C-C forum is very welcoming of members and there has been disputes among anybody, just good (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Hi Paul I love that MOC.....man you know how to impress makes me feel like giving up building... when I saw your stuff...WOW LegoAvon (URL) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mirage

Another cool looking nasal design there Dan! :) You certainly have a knack for working the big dish panels into your ships. Greg "Daniel Jassim" <danieljassim@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:Ht68Bu.GI2@lugnet.com... (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Argent Supra

That is a whole lot of lime there Paul! What a cool looking ship. I especially like the integration of the Technic panels and the 2x4 wedge plates that make up the front of the engines. If I had one ever so slight negative comment, it would be to (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Argent Supra

(...) Dang, Paul! Wow! You do stretch the limits of our imaginations. I don't really know what to say. Wow. I dig that sloping up wing design. The color scheme is very in-your-face, but it works well. And those huge engines are really neat. (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

It would be cool to have...

A .space site like classic-castle.com Now, I'm not flaming or anything, but it would useful and cool to have a community site like that. Besides being a great resource for building, in the form of articles, and stuff like that, it would also (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mirage

(...) Hey, Dan, very nice! This is a cool variation on the quarter-saucer theme. I wouldn't call it teeny- I guess all of my craft are microscopic, then- but it looks convincingly powerful, with those four blistering weapon pods, huge engine, and (...)   Re: Argent Supra

(...) Man..is that ever 'out there'. To be honest, when I first saw it in the thumbnail I recoiled a little bit due to the lime green....truly one of the hardest colours for me to get my head around. A closer look however reveals that the spire (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Mirage

(...) Excellent as usual, Dan. That engine is the clincher for me....it's chunky, but doesn't look garish...has a great sense of power to it. Cool. Cheers, -Gil (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: P-38 Contest entry: OR-38 SkipJack

(...) This hits all the hallmarks for me, John. Excellent clean and grouped colour scheme; nice use of angles (wings/engines) against the main body to break up the visual line; conservative and purposeful greeblings; economic element use. (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The MIFFLIN A.N.T.

(...) Hey, John, thats really cool! I've always liked small craft and this one is nifty. The cockpit works well here- a bubbly version of those old Blacktron II pods. The body is great, too- smooth, sleek, and simple. The part use is well thought (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: P-38 Contest entry: OR-38 SkipJack

(...) Thanks! Yeah, those telophone parts are nifty. Never had any till I got the UCS Snowspeeder for Christmas... (URL) >> (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  The MIFFLIN A.N.T.

The MIFFLIN Alliance has developed a small craft for assisting large space-faring vessels in tight manuevers. Principly employed in ports, a few of these can also be used in cleaning up wreckage from collisions, especially if a vessel's propulsion (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Space Stickers

Hello, I just uploaded a PDF file of Space themed scans that I used to make stickers to turn some of my non patterned parts into space pieces. I thought that this might be useful for other space fans. (URL) It's 10 meg in size, so you might want to (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Mirage

Wow! I saw that earlier on BrickShelf. Very nice! Simple, elegant (the use of one main color, no printed slopes or bricks, not so many greebles), this ship looks very compact, pretty strong. Maybe massive... Cheers, JP. (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  Mirage

Greetings! Here's a teeny attack craft I made: (URL) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space) !

  Re: Argent Supra

Hey Paul! Very impressive design and excellent presentation (please tell me you’ll save that landing bay for future MOCs!). You definitely are the king of the 3 X 12 slopes. I’m still struggled with what to do with the 4 I have. Those engines are (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC - PX-38 Thunder Clap (entry for P-38 contest)

(...) Cool little ship, but the coolest thing is it got you back building again. Sometimes, when inspiration is lacking, competitions like this provide just the right seed to prompt us to put bricks together. That's exactly where I was a couple of (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: Still looking for the beach - Space pick-up

Thanks Prof! I definitly find more inspiration in 40's and 50's cars and trucks than in recent designs. It also seems to be what's working in most of design studios, particulary with that kind of revival trend we see in concept cars and prototypes. (...)
