(...) Sport Camino? Do you mean the SSR?(1) That's what I was reminded of (and I agree, it's a nifty model. I like the way the jetski integrates in with the model's lines) 1 - (URL) 40K bills for a pickup??? (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Still looking for the beach - Space pick-up

(...) This is a fun model, and the front/grill construction that mirrors Chev's new sport camino....it's just plain good. Cheers, -G (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: LL38 - P38 Lightning Contest Entry

(...) I want this. I'll push all the family photos off the mantle and put this on a little pedestal with a plaque: 'Old Glory Rediscovered'. Awesome tribute build Allister. Cheers, -G (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: First MOC Post

(...) Yeah, it works kinda like "post-modern" art (if you made it last week, how can it come after the stuff being made today?), or the popular style of music collectively known as "alternative" rock (what's so alternative about it if everyone (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: First MOC Post

(...) Thanks! Quite unintentional, I assure you. But somewhat creepy, too, upon further reflection. (...) But then, wouldn't 'standard' be non-standard, and therefore, standard? Hmmm... Mike (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: First MOC Post

(...) Thanks, it's nice to be here. I got the cockpit idea from Mr Hoffman's Elefant. I figured you really didn't need to be able to see outside through windows to control your ship (just look any Enterprise). Mike (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Hi Allister, Very nice instruction set. The SNOT is very interesting, I can say today I learned something. Thanks for taking the time to do this and share it! JP. (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LL38 - P38 Lightning Contest Entry

(...) What a great idea! Maybe it's a little big for a P-38, but sometimes bigger is better ;) You've definitely raised the bar in the contest. TRS (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Billy Bob's Scarab, a buggy prospecting ship

  Solara Hovercar MOC

Hey .spacers Here's a new hovercar for your consideration. It's not based on any specific car, but definitely nods toward those late '60s/early '70s behemoths. It's low. It's wide. It's powerful. It seats one. Seats ONE ??!!??! Yes, it's the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: Billy Bob's Scarab, a buggy prospecting ship

(...) Man, I gotta disagree with ya on that. I much prefer canopies without hinges. That way I can hinge it however I want. Makes things like backwards and side opening canopies possible. :P (URL) (22 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
