I've heard talk of this evil around here for awhile, but I've never seen one,
until now. It's... the Space Hippies! Both are powered by insidious free-love
drives.

Have you ever notice how nature-loving hippies never seem to use anything that
runs on pollution-free solar-power?

Ha! Solar Power! Ain't no sun in space! Just like there ain't no air in space!

First up is their one-man fighter craft, armed with 3vil flower power
cannons, and freak-out rays.

That's the finest nonviolent fighter craft ever made!

Next is a shuttle, the space love-bus, complete with party lighting, lava
lamps, a matress in the back for crashing.

Aha!  They're not _real_ hippies!  They're hippie-wannabes!  As everyone knows,
real hippies would have found some way to refit the last working VW microbus to
be (mostly) space worthy before becoming Space Hippies.

But seriously though, the use of Clikits for the exterior deco was a truly
inspired idea.

I was thinking that it was some sort of second or third generation VW micro-bus,
kinda like there is a new VW bug. I based the style off of the microbus. I
wanted to have sliding doors, but the walls are too thick, so the microbus with
swining doors worked well.

I also built a space cadillac for some g-men.

I don't know if this was intended, but the layered wedge plates in the "fenders"
look great as intake/exhaust vents.

I'd seen someone else get a neat vent effect by layering those wedges, so I
thought that I would give it a shot, and it was alot easier than mounting wedges
and round slopes sideways like on the van.
Please let me know what you think.

I think the greybeard better hope those g-men don't spot what he's doing...

In space, no one can hear you toke...
