3 ideas I had —Jonathan Wilson
Firstly is a Siege Engine thingo that I saw on a bugs bunny (I think) cartoon. Basicly, its a giant thing with 3 axes on it in a circle thing, as it moves along the axes spin around. Secondly is a lamp I came up with. Grab one of the 4-pronged parts (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

Re: 3 ideas I had —Erik Bush
(...) Hey, Do you have any pictures of it? It would help. I will try to build what you are trying to explain. Erik Bush (20 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

Re: 3 ideas I had —David Laswell
(...) Three might be tricky to pull off. There are only three pieces that I can think of that allow you to attach things at exactly 120 degree intervals, and one of them is a fairly new TECHNIC tri-beam that only comes in two sets. This is probably (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

(...) Here's another way to get 120 degree angles with hinge bricks: (URL) got the idea from Jon Palmer: (URL) course, four axes spinning around would be pretty easy--I'd use the 4x4 round brick in brown as a hub: (URL) technic half-pins fit into (...)          Re: 3 ideas I had —David Laswell
(...) They do, but they spin freely in the sockets. I'd lean more towards using black friction pins (maybe with black axes to make them less obvious?) which will both grip on the inside of the hub and the axle handle. Er, they grip the axe a bit (...)         Re: 3 ideas I had —Jonathan Wilson
(...) What I actually meant was to stick 1 x 1 round bricks on each of the 4 prongs, not just one in the middle. (20 years ago, 21-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

Re: 3 ideas I had —David Laswell
(...) Ah, my mistake. I can't recall any specific uses of that design that I've seen, but I'd still be surprised if it hasn't been used before by someone (flip it upside-down and it sounds like a neat idea for part of a nano-scale building). I (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

Re: 3 ideas I had —Frank Filz
(...) Actually I think this idea was used in 5850 The Royal Crystal Palace. Well, ok, I think it uses cones. Frank (20 years ago, 24-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)
