The 42nd Marine Unit "Screamin' Balrogs" —Mark Sandlin
Hi Everyone. I'm about to start playing Warhammer 40k with a friend using Lego, so I thought I'd devote a section of my website to the creations I use for this purpose. There is only one entry right now, but there will be more in the near future. (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: The 42nd Marine Unit "Screamin' Balrogs" —Greg Howell
(...) Very cool Mark. The nifty thing is you all ready have the saw swords made for you by TLC! Can't wait to see a tank. (don't remember what they are called) Warhammer is a game I have judiciously avoided on the grounds that it is very cool and I (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) Very nice! For totally different reasons, I had been trying to build something that resembled the newer 40k Assault Space Marine Jump Packs- and these look dang close! I'll have to try building something like them... Can't wait to see more! (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) Really? It shares a lot of the same features- Big Jets exhausts pointing at skewed angles to the trooper, over-the-shoulder intakes, etc. It's very evocative of the GW one, although there are also several differences. (...) Yeah- the new (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: The 42nd Marine Unit "Screamin' Balrogs" —Jeremy H. Sproat
(...) Oh, for the love of Ole, please please *please* give us more shots of your assult jetpacks! :-, That fifth shot is quite good and very helpful for the general assembly, but I'm still trying to figure out the joint between the jetpack and the (...)    (...) Yeah, I made picture #6 so it shows pretty much everything. Basically, I just stuck a couple 1x1-with-studs-on-side on a couple of megaphone pieces. (...) Heh... I dunno. Warhammer mecha didn't really impress me all that much. I'll have to (...) (24 years ago, 3-Aug-00, to lugnet.space)
