I discovered a couple of uses for steering wheels while working on a current project. The first uses a tap and the wheel part removed from its base. (URL) need to lever the wheel off the base. Its a little snug but it will pop off without damaging (...) (22 years ago, 25-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

I too never met Travis in person. I only knew him from his posts here and talking to him in the chat rooms. He was a great guy and his Moc's were inspirational. I met him this past summer at BF. Great guy. This is not fair. I don't like it when someone with great ideas and imagenation leaves. Very Sad. I knew Travis to be one of the most enthusiast person in the LEGO community.
