First off, merry Christmas to everyone. I hope that in light of recent events,
everyone’s holidays are going well for them.
Last night I was outside, and another idea popped into my head. In honor of
Travis’ contributions to space, I can think of no greater honor than
contributing Travis to space in return. Perhaps we could take up a collection,
and register a star in Travis’ name with the International Star Registry.
Travis’ name would then be forever etched in space, just as his memory will
always be etched in our hearts. The star registry could then be sent to his
family. It includes the star name, and maps and directions for finding his star
in the sky. I couldn’t think of anything more truly fitting for one of our own
stars than to put him up there for everyone else to enjoy as well.
