  BrickLink Order Sharing

Hi Folks- I realize this is a little off topic, so please bear with me. Often times, when I'm working on a project, I'll find myself in need of certain parts, usually easily found on BrickLink. Unfortunately, it always seems like no one vendor has (...) (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Galaxy Defender - classic space MOC

Doug- Outstanding! I love everything about this from tip to tail!!! It has an excellent, flowing look to it, with great greebling and a sharp design. I also appreciate the background story, and the plausible spin in it. Overall, a superb MOC!!! Live (...) (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Galaxy Defender - classic space MOC

This ship has a great shape to it. And you really ought to be ashamed of yourself for not including landing gear...this MOC is screaming for some!! (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) Hey Tom, I really dig the shape of this. And you've achieved success with a canopy that I've found impossible to use to date. -Nick (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Galaxy Defender - classic space MOC

(...) Hey Doug, This is cool. It reminds of my favorite non-lego toy of all time, the Kenner Snowspeeder. Nick (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: ~NEW MOC~ "Xeon"

(...) Hey Matt, This is the coolest thing UD has brought us yet. I really like the Bionicle brain-holder heads on the rear quarter panels. -nk (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 3vil DropSkull

(...) Or if they're old ladies that the people on the other side of the street are ignoring. Or, if they don't take them *all* the way across.... Nick 3.6vil (20% more 3vil than the 3GA, FREE!) (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Galaxy Defender - classic space MOC

(...) Yes, I generally go by "Doug". A general thanks to all who have commented so far. I hope to be able to post a couple more MOCs in the comming days. Maybe something to honor?? the new Battlestar Galactica miniseries that is airing on the SCIFI (...) (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Galaxy Defender - classic space MOC

(...) Thanks, the defender turned out to be quite sturdy and is very swoosh-able. The only problem is with its blended wing-body shape, it is hard to find a good point to hold it by. (...) I was going for a large design. I tend design my creations (...) (22 years ago, 9-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: ~NEW MOC~ "Xeon"

(...) Good. I was hoping you were going to follow through with building it. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Thanks for the praise! :) Captain Krotzer, Unknown Division/UD Tech(R) Corporation (URL) P.S. Race? Any time... bring it on, short-bus boy! (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: ~NEW MOC~ "Xeon"

(...) Hey, this is sweet. I love the use of the bionicle parts and all that light blue. This thing looks like it might be up to a race with one of my StarCraft. Its definately my favorite of your UD stuff. tk (URL) Co-Curator of .Space> (URL) CEO (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Short Range Bomber

(...) No way man... learned my lesson about that. How about a Xeon instead? ;) Nice little craft there... reminds me of a mosquito... a very heavily armed mosquito, but a mosquito nonetheless. I like it. Captain Krotzer, The Unknown Division/UD (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

3vil-icious... ::looks through replies:: Good, Deering hasn't gotten to it yet. In that case, well played. Captain Krotzer, The Unknown Division (URL) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: SS-A Paladin

(...) Thanks, James! The vents in back are intended for cooling. With the hatch off you can see the fan unit. (heh, he said "unit.") Glad you like it! (2 URLs) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: SS-A Paladin

(...) Thanks for the comments Lindsay! The wings/engines have an eight-stud contact area on the side of the fuselage: four on the top row and four in the second row. There is no connection between the two halves. It would have been difficult to do (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Galaxy Defender - classic space MOC

Doug, great MOC! Hi swoosh factor, especially for such a large craft. At first glance, I thought it was just a small fighter craft, but then I realized that it's really quite large! Nice detailing work on the greeblies. I like the slightly angled (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: SS-A Paladin

(...) Sorry to hear that, Terry. Though I consider this to be a step up in "evolution" of the SS series, I'm still pretty attached to the original Paladin. I'm glad you can still appreciate it on it's own along others I've done. (2 URLs) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
