  Re: Women and Eric?

(...) See what you gotta do is focus the topic away from the "how much time you spend doing it/how much this costs/how much room in the house this will take up" and more towards creativity. Especially be sure to explain to the woman how you like (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: The Love Bubble!

(...) Terrific! You've beaten me to the punch, I built two ships that use clickits, but haven't posted them online. I really like the triple fins/legs. You've got some neat building techniques here too. Daniel Rubin (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

There's not much for me to say that hasn't already been said, but those mecha... Just too cool. A fitting tribute to the Regult Battlepod. Take care, Soren (URL) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

How to stretch a brick supply?

Hey all I'm almost done with my latest MOC, but I'm having trouble because of a relatively small grey piece supply. First, this is a space destroyer, maybe not a "cap ship" by some standards, but ~92 studs long. The shape is kinda boxy, and I'm (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: deep-space exploration SHIP "Beagle"

I frick'n hate you. This ship is a beautiful example of proven concepts applied thoroughly and systematically. The stickers are wonderful, (any suggestions on how I might make some of my own?) and placed well. Interiors are balanced, very nice. I've (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Love Bubble!

(...) Pink is the new color of space. Not much room in the cockpit for getting all loved up by those two. I guess that sort of thing is best done in the secret asteroid dreamy dome. Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) It's funny you should say that. Glowy-green is starting to creep onto my work table. More on that later... Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) Oooh... IP contest. I'm going to have to do some searching. thanks Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) Great! The more IP2002 MOCs the better. Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) I used up all the lids I had on the Mammoth, so a compromise had to be made. If the MCM size wheels were available in white they woud be on that baby. I thought it would work but I agree, it's not icey enough. Thanks for the comments. Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) And to think you had a large part to play in all this when you sold me the large grey baseplate at brickfest. I'm glad that you recognize a signature style in my creations. I think its an extra special MOC that shows the builders hand. Thanks, (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) Thanks, My wife would definitely concure about the insane part. Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) I thought Exploriens were pretty cool. But Deep Freeze Defender(6973) kicks Explorien Starships(6982) @$$. Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) Indeed, it is a stiffy. Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) Praise from the Admiral! Thank you, sir. My favorite space set has got to be the M-tron Mega Core Magnetizer. So that was the seed to this design. I thought there needed to be more wheeled vehicles in space with really big wheels. And the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) I came out of my dark age just as IP2002 was disappearing from stores so it became the "lost theme" for me and I had to have it. I do alot of searches on Ebay for 'orange' and have been stockpiling TFO for some time now. I'm glad you like what (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Ice Planet Returns

(...) The mammoth started in my mind's eye as a vehicle that would attach to a moonbase door. It ended up too short but I like the end result. Thanks, Pat Bunn (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)

  M12-LRV Warthog Instructions, Finally!

It is with great enthusiasm that I get off my rear and create some highly requested Warthog instructions. I haven't been able to do much with Lego for a while, but after so many requests I've finally done it. The Brickshelf folder is here: (URL) If (...)   Re: EBKD November

(...) ah, beautiful design work, even the bottom is well done. STUDLESS RULZ! which Hallman ship? url? only constructive crit: the lack of real 'engines'. or even a decent hover-generator. there needs to be some machinery to make its method of lift (...)   Re: New MOC: deep-space exploration SHIP "Beagle"

(...) Paul, I can but echo most of the other posts, this is a wonderful MOC, full of playability and everything a scientific team could need for exploring. I would have loved to make something this good to play with as a kid (now I'd love to have (...) (22 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.space)
