  Re: 4 new ships

(...) Nice and compact. Well done. Needs landing gear, though (or apparatus to dock to a landing cradle, maybe?). (...) I agree with Mark, it needs something on the front. Is there a docking attachment? That would be cool. Something to make the (...) (22 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Interceptor

(...) Nice one GA. That asymetrically-folding ventral pylon really plays with my brain! I am never doing that in one of my MOCs... ;-) Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (22 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 4 new ships

(...) (snip) I like the Vayu and Flytail. Really nifty small ships. I really like the direction you were going with the tanker, but I don't think the front end works. I think it could look really cool if you put the two large dishes on the front to (...) (22 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Interceptor

(...) Part of the problem with the UCS canopy is that it's very long and wide, but not very tall. If I were to have added another crew member, I'd have had to make the front of the ship taller to accomodate the extra crew. This would have spoiled (...)   Re: 4 new ships

(...) Wow (for all four (or even eight?) of them)! Very nice work. I especially liked the Flytail for some reason. Probably cause it's very neat and slick, with a clean design. The reversed backfin was a cool detail. I haven't been to your site (...) (22 years ago, 17-Nov-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 4 new ships

(...) Howdy! I really like some of the things you did on the space tanker, it really stands out to me. It looks very realistic in the minimalistic design, and looks to have good proportionality in the engine/tankers/crew divisions. My only question (...)   Re: 4 new ships

(...) Thanx Travis! I agree on the bridge-remark. I wanted to build it all inside the hull, with protection against small astroids as the reason, but now it just looks tiny. Lighting was really bad, so I could not take interior pictures (yet). (...) (22 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 4 new ships

(...) cool work. I especially like the tanker. it really looks the role and the big ol honking thrusters are perfect. I think it might need a little more prominent bridge area. At first glance i thought it was just the tanker trailer part. tk (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  4 new ships

Hello all! I've been building for a couple of weeks now, but I only took time to photograph my new stuff this weekend. So without further ado four new ships: (2 URLs) The Vayu fighter>, a small ship in a colour scheme I haven't used before. (2 URLs) (...)   Re: PCS Interceptor

(...) Wow! Great ship, Grand Admiral! I like the use of the arches and the UCS X-Wing cockpit. I just wonder if, with such a large canopy, a two-person ship might not have been more logical. A pilot and a navigator or a pilot and a gunner? Now it (...) (22 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 2 New (small) MOCs

(...) Great ships, Paul, especially the Starlite. But the King of Greeblies building such a smooth ship? I guess that's progress in space ;-) Alexander (URL) Ceres Spaceworks> (22 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Interceptor

(...) Thanks. I originally wanted to use different canopy parts, but that's the only trans clear I had at the time. I am happy with the way it turned out tho. :) -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (22 years ago, 16-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Interceptor

Wow, what a great ship! To me, the cockpit really stands out. The canopy is an interesting choice, and not one I would have used, but it does make for a sleek look. The interior of the cockpit is what really appeals to me. What an excellent use of (...) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: PCS Interceptor

(...) Well you better. It's a sorry state of affairs when the rest of us have to build PCS that you're not building. -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Interceptor

(...) Thanks Trav. I occasionally hide castle bits in my MOCs. My Candiru actually used some castle battlements in the engines. I built this in a moment of inspiration last night... I feel like it came out pretty well. -Grand Admiral .space Curator (...) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Interceptor

(...) Thanks Keith, Unfortunately I was all out of the large ball joint sockets that are so appropriate for PCS engines. I used all mine on the SPLASH and didn't want to disassemble it quite yet. -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (22 years ago, 15-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
