flexibility of the Armature. Unfortunately the armor is so heavy it does
little more than stand and point its guns. Its a hulk, not an acrobat.

Just for future reference, I find a small piece of paper in the ball joint
stiffens them up nicely vis
this pic (you
can see the poorly trimmed paper where the kneck joins the body). I tried
Tony Knaaks method (whatever
happened to him - havent seen him here in awhile), but it doesnt stiffen the
ball in every direction, and its bulky, not to mention extremely fiddly to
build, but hey it was worth trying. I also tried nail polish on the ball, but it
wasnt very effective, and its permanent.
Paper is simple, effective and non-destructive. 80gsm works about best without
stressing the socket too much. It should allow you to extract a few more
balletic poses out of your model.
