    MRT II —Philip Painter
Hello again .spacers I've been working on re-designing the Mobile Rocket Transport. I wanted to update the look and size of my favorite set as a kid.         Re: MRT II —Nathan Wells
(...) AWESOME. Simply awesome. Everything about it is brilliant. I love those giant wheels! Usually I think MOCs that are completely light gray need more dark gray, but in your case, I think the rocket would look better as a solid color. Again, this (...)         Re: MRT II —Chris Giddens
Phil, this is awesome. I have one of the originals on my desk right now. The shape is very schmoove. I may hafta steal this for PCS ;-) My favorite part though is the rocket. Dude! SOOO very steely/art deco. Love it. Keep em spacey. (URL) Admiral (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: MRT II —Mark Sandlin
(...) Very cool Phil. I think my only critique is that it looks a bit "thin" in the middle... like it needs a little more "stuff" underneath the chassis. Everything else looks great tho. -Grand Admiral and Keeper of Fleebnorks (URL) "Adopt a (...) (21 years ago, 17-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: MRT II —John Henry Kruer
(...) Looking nice, Philip! I really like the cleaniness and the smoothness of it. It brings back that old-school feel. Oh, and the rocket doesn't hurt... at least while you look at it... :) My only complaint is that the walls of the cockpit look a (...) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: MRT II —Gil Shaw
(...) Phil....banged it right outta the park, brotha. Aside from all the other points kudo'ed above, I really love the solid black, studless undercarriage with the simple, offset greebs on the front. It is a beauty contrast against the detailing of (...) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: MRT II —Philip Painter
Thanks for the comments, everyone! I'm glad you guys like it. Thanks for providing some criticism too, Mark and John. I agree with both your points. I wanted the model to look as much like a LEGO set as possible, so I kept the construction and (...) (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

        Re: MRT II —Gil Shaw
(...) In that case, the whole thing stinks. All of it. Re-do, and have it on my desk by 4:00pm sharp. ;) -G (21 years ago, 18-Aug-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
