  New MOC: The Omega

Hi .space, As I said in an earlier post... here is the Omega ... (URL) is a nanofig-scale schip carrying a complete city and a complement of two capital ships in its spaceport ... it is huge but smaller than (URL) Omega based on the omicron design I (...) Dude, that's sick... in a good way. I'm consistently amazed by the size and scale of your cap ships. Each one is different and amazingly designed. Again I'm in awe. I loved the city layout... very original, and very cleverly handled on such a (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) I like the asymmetric shape of Omega and Omicron. Keep it up! If I may make a suggestion, it looks like you're taking your pics with a low-res digital camera. You can improve the quality of digital photos with this type of camera by using an (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) This is cool, but I think that I prefer the Omicron... on the Omega, I don't really like the way the city is plonked on top, which to me doesn't fit with the smoother angles of the main ship. I think it would look better the other way around, (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks for your comments, i too, really love this kind of scale, it allows for HUGE ships... Didier (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) I didn't know that trick, i will certainly try it ... i am using an old, borrowed camera on a much older PC ... i cant even see my own pics in a satisfying way on my own pc :-( i think i just need more money :-) thanks alot, Didier (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) thanks Anne, I like your work too especially the giant minifig (it was you wasn't it?) And i also find your ravage great, you should try to find a way to matke it transform... it should be possible to do I must also tell you i am impressed by (...) (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New MOC: The Omega

(...) Hi, I agree with you, it Omicron is smoother, and if the city is plonked on top it's because I didn't want to teat the Omicron apart yet, this was mainly a first attempt to use the same shape (with as little modification as possible) on two (...) (...) Nah, you just need more practice! Most webcams take pretty good pictures if you get enough light on the subject - you can try that, too. And make sure the camera is rock-steady (crucial for sharp pictures with any kind of camera). James (21 years ago, 15-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)
