New MOC: The Omicron —Didier Deses
Hello again, I've been building lately ... here are the first results: (URL) ship was made with for showing at the first BeLUG ((URL) weekend ((URL) quite solid, hence transportable. LMKWYT (i.e. give me comments!) Didier PS: Soon on my Brickshelf (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: The Omicron —Matt Krotzer
Impressive. I love the unorthodox design. It doesn't follow the standard symmetrical patterns that most of us use, and its very well done as far as the greeblage goes as well. Are those tiny ships in the hangar bay? I'm digging this ship a lot. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: The Omicron —Didier Deses
(...) Thanks, the hangar bay does indeed allow for up to 6 fighters. next pics i post will be the same design but on another scale. didier (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: New MOC: The Omicron —Paul Baulch
(...) Ooooh! I love that shape. That is an extra cool shape, how it goes in at the front and back to keep a centred bow and stern. That's giving me all sorts of ideas... how did you decide on the shape? Yum. I'm looking forward to the OMEGA now. (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: New MOC: The Omicron —Didier Deses
(...) where did i get the idea for this shape ... let me think ... a after making (URL) i liked that shape alot, so i wanted to make some more "bent wings" ... at first i wanted to make some "breen"-like ship (star trek) ... by a coincidence the (...)         Re: New MOC: The Omicron —Travis Matheson
(...) The shape really impresses me too. but it made me think... (and that can sometimes lead to trouble) Now I love the idea on non-symmetrical shapes craft such as this one, they really show creative thinking and inspiration. but, with the engine. (...)         Re: New MOC: The Omicron —Paul Baulch
(...) Well, it could be some sort of gravitic propulsion which applies a force which is located outside the engine, or it could simply be that the engine constitutes the majority of the mass and itself has a non-symetrical internal distribution that (...)         Re: New MOC: The Omicron —Didier Deses
(...) I completely agree with you paul, there are so many explanations possible ... However to satisfy everyone i use the next killer explanation: This series of ships are from a very very very advanced alliance of species, in fact every ship had a (...)         Re: New MOC: The Omicron —Travis Matheson
(...) please don't think I was nit-picking. this was just a thought I had whilst looking at your model. (...) I was thinking about this and I've come up with my own explanation. Gravimetric counterweights. Massive force fields are used to generate a (...) (21 years ago, 11-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)
